What does it mean when you have recurrent dreams of a nonexistent part of your home?
its a bunch of rooms and actually an entire top floor that nobody ever goes in but you go there sometimes in your dreams and you’re always like “how come we dont hang out here much” but there’s always this weird feeling there.
This weird space has appeared in dreams over the past 15 years.
In some dream interpretations, especially Psychological, houses are ourselves. The houses and rooms are parts of ourselves and represent the things that we desire in our homes (lives). Attics and other rooms are places that we wish we had in the past, but didn’t, but still long for now.
I’ve had house dreams often. And sometimes I would wake up crying. My house dreams were so perfect and I wished I could go back to the old house and make it happen!
But I can’t. So I take from the dream the lesson it teaches. Why were these rooms so important and why did they make me feel so good (or bad!). Sometimes, my house dreams are a little scary and weird, maybe like yours.
How are the rooms in the house parts of me. Am I looking for a safe place or a place to find some peace? Why were these rooms so important?
Don’t think that You Are weird for having these dreams. Many people have them and don’t mention it. If the house is yourself, what is happening in your life? And, if it hurts, how can you change it?
You can, you know! Use your dreams to help you identify things that bother you and fix them in your waking life.
Once you understand what is happening, your dreams get clearer and eventually go away.
