Do you agree with Robert kiyosaki and the concept of the cash flow quadrent?
Or do you just think it is silly and people will be fine as employees and not striving to become a “B” or an “I’. If You Are less familiar with this, E = employee S = self employed B = business owner I = investor. As an employee, you work a job and only make what the position pays. Self employeed, If you stop so does the money, business owner, people work for you and allow your efforts to duplicate and an investor lets money work for them. What do you think? Also keep in mind if a young person wants to retire they will need over a million dollars to live their retirement years and most jobs will not do that for us.
I enjoy Kiyosaki’s “Rich Dad Poor Dad” stuff and I definitely agree with his observations regarding the Cashflow Quadrant.
I think that it is helpful for opening people’s eyes to the concepts of various income streams and the strengths and weaknesses of each. He does a good job helping folks to better understand the skills and thought processes necessary for operating in each of the four quadrants. And like he says, success in one quadrant does not necessarily translate into success in the others.
I appreciate his simple writing style and insights into human nature. He is definitely telling the Truth About people and money and how wealth is created. He gives a good broad overview without telling you exactly what you should do, just that you should assess the reality that exists and take action for your future.
