What should I do for English?

In my english/literacy class, where we just read for the entire period (in school), I have a strict english teacher, and I have a very advanced vocabulary, and am tired of amateur 8th grade books, so I started reading love and war, and love it.

In class, can I get in trouble for reading Love and War, by john jakes…I don’t know if a teacher would find it inappropriate.

GO FOR IT!
they never put a limit on what you’re reading, as long as your reading. if your teacher really doesnt like it than ask them to suggest books that are more your level reading, as they will understand no one is on the same reading level. they cannot punnish u because ur more advanced than the other students in ur class.
